Description:
This role is responsible for building the VeraData client base within specific Non-Profit sectors. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities, prospecting new clients, and effectively communicating the VeraData value proposition. In this capacity you will be responsible for negotiating the initial Statement of Work and driving the opportunity through to close. Based on the prospect’s needs, this role will maintain ownership of the account at a senior level and work collaboratively across the VeraData organization to ensure effective results are delivered and opportunities for renewable business are identified.
The position reports to the Vice President of Sales. Compensation includes competitive base salary and uncapped, aggressive commission structure.

Qualifications
A strong candidate for this position will include the following qualifications:
· Self-motivated and able to identify opportunities, sell new business, and close sales
· Ability to assess client objectives and formulate solutions that deliver mutual value
· Comfortable with consultative sales and solution selling as a sales approach
· Understanding of Non-Profit fundraising marketing program design, execution, and measurement
· Experience selling solutions across data-driven direct mail and digital media channels
· Strong negotiation skills and communication skills
· Understanding of analytic tools and techniques a plus
· Work well in a team-oriented and highly collaborative environment
· Well organized and detail-oriented
Requirements
· 5 – 8 Years of Professional Sales experience, ideally within or selling into the Non-Profit sector
· Demonstrated Sales & Business Development Experience
· Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
· Strong operational skills with Sales Management Software, ie. Salesforce.com
· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
