The Business Development Sr. Manager for Defense and Government Programs is Responsible for:
- Coordinating multiple projects and reconciling the interdependencies among them.
- Facilitating communication among a project's cross-functional team.
- Organizing projects and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved with minimal deviations.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.
- Analyzing program risks.
- Working on strategy with the marketing team.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of multiple projects’ status throughout their life cycle.
- Hire and manage project managers as the Defense and Government Solutions division grows.
Your Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
- Defense and/or Federal Government experience is desired.
- Proven experience in program management.
- Understanding of project management.
- Proven management skills.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
