What you'll be doing

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures marketing materials for new product development efforts are positioned in the manner intended by the business development team to optimally drive sales.
  • Ensures all existing marketing materials are technically accurate, maintained, and updated as product development and customer needs dictate.
  • Drives portfolio messaging by working cross-functionally with competitive intelligence and marketing to portray products in the most advantageous light.
  • Leads the detailed communication of significant industry trends to business leadership.
  • Attends industry conferences to keep abreast of the competitive marketplace.
  • Builds and leverages industry knowledge and contacts to translate market insights into actionable tactics that help grow profitable product lines.
  • Delivers on more complex assignments and projects in support of product development and implementation in the launch of new products/riders/services for the business line.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments and projects.
  • Provides technical product support during training and product rollouts by explaining product design concepts and features.
  • Responds efficiently to roadblocks to facilitate achievement of team and departmental goals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key internal partners through participation in workgroups, advisory committees, meetings, and presentations.

What we’re looking for

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • 3 - 5+ Years experience in the financial service/insurance industries with exposure to product development and implementation (idea development, operational requirement meetings, marketing launches, etc.) (Required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Graphic Design background
  • Writing/editing
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
