This is NOT a telemarketing job, but the role does require making outbound phone calls to CFOs, controllers, accounting/finance and tax executives of targeted companies, including existing clients. Your role will be to convince them to consider our services and to arrange a meeting, then present our services in person to close the deal. You will also develop a broad network of business associates in related fields to share leads and contacts. High energy, confidence, ambition, and work ethic are all very important. Ideally, the individual would have at least 2-5 years of tax, accounting, sales or operations experience, who also possesses a sales-minded aptitude and an interest in embarking on a career opportunity. We are looking for someone who is determined to succeed and willing to work hard more than any other trait. This is an opportunity with significant upside for the right individual.

The ideal candidate must be capable of fulfilling all 10 Responsibilities and must possess all 10 Requirements that are outlined below. These are not assets we would like a potential candidate to have, these are all MUST haves. Please read them carefully before applying for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • 100+ outbound cold calls per week to CFOs, controllers, accounting/finance and tax executives of targeted companies - including existing clients - and schedule sales meetings
  • Regularly identify and meet with potential networking contacts in related industries
  • High level of intelligence to understand and communicate our consulting engagements over the phone and in person and to understand the clients’ general business environment
  • Strong listening comprehension skills over the phone and in person
  • Ability to describe and comprehend business processes over the phone and in person
  • Comfort and ability to follow a line of questioning with prospects to understand their business process, identify opportunities, and discuss multiple consulting offerings
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities within the sales pipeline simultaneously
  • Routinely record all prospect and client interaction in contact relationship management database, and communicate with fellow employees
  • Ability to sell multiple consulting offerings simultaneously
  • Performs other duties as assigned
