Description:
The VP Account Services + Business Development leads the Account Services team in the strategy and planning of programs and initiatives for the agency’s accounts. As the Account Services leader, the VP Account Services + Business Development serves as the senior strategist on the Account Services team, providing overall strategic direction and counsel for agency accounts. This role is ultimately responsible for account satisfaction, account profitability, and account execution for all agency accounts.
In addition to creating strategic business solutions that result in growth and development of current agency accounts, the VP Accounts + Business Development is responsible for leading the Business Development team in pursuit of new business opportunities. The VP Account Services + Business Development works closely with the Executive team to cultivate new business relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with President to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Oversees RFP/opportunity strategy development
- Leads new business Understanding Call + Capabilities Presentation with SMEs
- Cultivates relationships with clients at CEO + C-Suite level
- Ensures strategic recommendations are solving business objectives for all clients
- Ensures agency is successful with execution of all client engagements
- Manages agency-wide account satisfaction
- Ensures agency is regularly addressing client issues/concerns
- Manages client profitability across the agency
- Manages agency-wide client revenue goals and projections
- Oversees agency-wide account penetration, upselling and cross-selling
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the dynamics and workings of the client’s business
- Manages Account Services + Business Development teams
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years Marketing/Advertising Agency Account Services experience
- Healthcare Client experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
- Complete knowledge of agency capabilities/offerings
- Mastery in managing client profitability
- Mastery in leadership of integrated strategy throughout client relationships
- Mastery in developing integrated marketing plans + budgets aligned with client’s business objectives
- Mastery in successful negotiations and conflict resolution
- Skilled in maintaining C-Suite relationships and managing to a win-win relationship
- Proven success in growing new business and client development across the agency
- Experience successfully staffing, managing and growing a team
- This role is primarily onsite in Evansville, IN, with the opportunity for hybrid
