Budget Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Budget Analyst to join our Budget Management team. The

ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about analyzing large data sets and has a strong

attention to detail. If you thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments, where the

business and processes are constantly changing, this role is for you.

 

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Budgeting

• Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts such as accruals, P&Ls, forecasting,

fiscal planning, end to end P2P process

• Ability to process a high volume of transactions in a fast paced environment

• Superior analytical skills and the ability to audit, dissect and interpret large data sets

• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to solve problems independently in a highly matrixed

organization

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and concisely communicate

announcements, deadlines, training, presentations, policies

• Ability to adapt to new tools and comprehend how data intersects within and across tools

• Works independently with minimal supervision and takes the initiative to drive for results

• Experience with working in a business, creative organizations, and/or marketing is preferred

• Proven experience with change management

• Experience in data reconciliation and auditing

• Extensive Excel experience is a must

• Flexibility with work schedule to virtually meet with partners in APAC and EMEA

 

Responsibilities

• Own the budgets and relationships with Functions and enforce our processes

• Review and approve invoices and POs daily

• Manage and report on budgets and actual spend for our cross-functional teams across

multiple lines of business

• Analyze large sets of data to understand P&L actuals each quarter, understand where we

under or over spend against projects, and formally present variance explanations, key insights

and recommendations

• Meticulously audit and reconcile large data sets and identify issues to be addressed

• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to troubleshoot issues around budgets, invoicing, POs,

etc

• Document and train on processes for internal and partner teams

• Work with minimal supervision, drawing on your expertise to drive results and make decisions

independently

• Reconcile and track invoices against forecasted spend and PO balances

• Create Purchase orders

• Ad hoc analysis, tasks, and projects as needed

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
