Broadcast Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine system requirements, conceptualize system design, and provide implementation support through construction drawings
• Provide technical expertise and coordination information for the architecture, planning, and installation of the AV solutions
• Research and recommend technical solutions to client and project team
• Oversee construction drawing package, provide support documentation for installation and coordination with the project team
• Collaborate with client and team in order to develop budgets, and timelines, and manage client expectations
• Maintain partnerships with clients and team members to ensure project success
• Develop and track Bill of Materials (BOM) and supporting documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AV systems designing
• Avixa CTS certification required
• Avixa CTS-D preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clear and detailed understanding of project phases - construction process, installation and integration
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, Word, and Google Sheets tools
