Description:
The Office of Advancement at St. Charles Preparatory School is seeking a versatile creative and project management professional to lead the planning and execution of internal and external marketing initiatives that drive awareness for the school and its activities, rally its supportive network of alumni and benefactors, promote impactful events, and encourage more students and families to embrace the challenge of this exceptional, faith-filled learning environment. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Brand Manager will serve as part of a team that translates the school’s strategic plan into tactics that have meaningful impact for the school and for generations of young men who will attend it. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, tactical planning and savvy execution.
This is a full-time role performed from its own dedicated office within the Office of Advancement on the campus of St. Charles.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
· Utilize traditional and new media to help meet the goals of the school as defined in its strategic plan.
· Maintain the marketing budget in coordination with the Director of Advancement. Support the development of program budgets and adherence of project timelines.
· Manage the planning, development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic documents, including, marketing resources, event materials, development campaigns and school-wide documents, often collaborating with all department teams.
· Curate and edit content for the website, social media, email, marketing materials and other platforms that is on-brand and is integrated across media channels.
· Execute marketing initiatives with vendors.
· Track and manage key performance indicators in regard to the effectiveness of marketing materials.
· Create, coordinate and mentor a student group to develop their creative marketing skills.
Qualifications:
· Degree in a related field.
· Superb writing and oral communication skills.
· Experience in education and marketing experience in either a secondary or post-secondary system preferred.
· Proficiency with industry software and applications including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, and the suite of Microsoft 365 tools.
· Ability to create a calendar of initiatives and manage multiple tasks to effective completion at a given time.
· Ability to complete work on teams, independently and through productive collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
· Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of special activities, meetings and events.
· Compliance with background and safety requirements for work with and in proximity to students of the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio.
· Commitment to the Mission, Vision, Values and Founding Promise of St. Charles and its role as a teaching ministry of the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio.
