Description:

  • The Branch Banking and Deposit Product Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bank’s branch network, ensuring the seamless execution of deposit product offerings, and driving operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of branch banking functions and deposit products.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the operational aspects of the bank’s branch network, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the deposit product management lifecycle, from product development and pricing to implementation and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Work closely with branch managers and department heads to ensure alignment between branch operations and strategic business goals.
  • Provide guidance and training to branch staff on deposit products, policies, and operational procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and compliance.
  • Analyze branch performance metrics and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies to optimize operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, third-party service providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and support by resolving escalated issues and providing operational solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to recommend new deposit products or enhancements to meet customer needs and improve competitiveness.
  • Lead initiatives related to process improvement, risk management, and technology integration to drive operational efficiency across branch banking functions.
  • Ensure that operational and regulatory audits are successfully managed and that the bank’s deposit products meet legal and compliance standards.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications or an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in branch banking operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of deposit products, banking regulations, and operational processes within the retail banking environment.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, including training and developing staff to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to optimize operations and products.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with banking software, operational systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
