As a Benefits Specialist at TikTok, you will be supporting various employee benefits, including but not limited to Leave of Absence (LOA), healthcare benefits, and 401(k) retirement plan. The ideal candidate should have strong experience and knowledge in leave management, benefits operation and applicable compliance requirements per different types of plans, along with benefits vendor management and system optimization experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Leave of Absence (LOA), ensure the correct filing of leave documents, maintain leave records across HR platforms, and enhance employee experience in the leave application process;
- Be the expert in Benefits Administration System, process timely review and approval for life events, review and confirm retroactive benefits deduction based on employee enrollment and life event each pay cycle;
- Conduct periodical audits to ensure the data integrity across platforms (HRIS, Benefits Admin system, and other vendor platforms);
- Identify opportunities for automation from current workflow, and work with internal HRIS team and external vendors to release human hours from manual works and improve data accuracy;
- Manage various benefits vendors, including new vendor implementation, weekly and monthly billing management, monitor vendor usage and continually evaluate vendor performance based on SLA;
- Ensure all compliance tasks are completed on a timely manner;
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Job Aids to provide instructions for the current benefits operations related tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred;
- Advantageous to have 3+ years' HR related work experience, with hands on experience in Leave of Absence (LOA) and benefits administration in a high-volume environment;
- Experience in Workday, ADP, Bswift , or other benefits administration system is highly preferred;
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, multi-tasking, and meet deadlines;
- Expert in Excel and attention to details;
- Great verbal and written communication skill, interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
