Description:

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) is a member of the U.S. Banks Data Risk team with a focus on carrying out the Bank's Information Management program. The Program provides the policies, tools, processes, and support services needed to help effectively organize, retain, preserve, and dispose of the Bank's information.

Key role activities:
 

  • Advising business units on recordkeeping policies and procedures, and related operational matters
  • Monitoring the U.S. Banks compliance with Information Management policy and data lifecycle management procedures
  • Developing, as necessary, internal controls and related processes to ensure IM program objectives are being met.
  • Reporting on information management-related performance and risk indicators
  • Tracking, monitoring, and following up on open/outstanding risk issues and related action plans.
  • Representing the U.S. Banks at Firm-wide and Bank governance forums
  • Communicating risk issues to senior management in a timely, accurate and understandable manner

     

Preferred Experience:
 

  • 3+ years of experience in internal controls and risk management
  • Experience working with Senior Management and control groups, including Legal, Risk, and Compliance
  • Knowledge of OCC Heightened Standards a plus
  • College degree required, advance degree a plus.
