Job Title: AWS Security Architect (Hybrid)
Location: Richmond, VA, USA (Local candidates preferred)

We are looking for an experienced AWS Security Architect to join our team in Richmond, VA under a hybrid work model, playing a critical role in securing our cloud infrastructure and driving security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Security Architecture: Design and implement secure AWS cloud architectures to meet business and compliance requirements.
2.    Migration Strategy: Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, ensuring security best practices.
3.    Incident Response: Lead incident detection, response, and remediation for cloud environments.
4.    Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps workflows.

Required Skills:
·      Expertise in AWS security services, including IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, Shield, Inspector, GuardDuty, and Macie.
·      Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
·      Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and related tools.
·      Solid grasp of networking concepts, including routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
·      Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
·      AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification is a plus.

Work Model:
·      Hybrid – 3 days ON SITE each week.
·      Local candidates from Virginia are preferred.
