Duration: Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture:
Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for AWS, including:
Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Network security.
Data protection.
Threat detection and monitoring.
Stay updated on AWS security best practices and industry standards.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, identifying and mitigating risks.
Cloud Migration Strategy:
Develop and execute a secure migration strategy for transitioning on-premises servers and applications to AWS.
Assess security implications of each migration phase and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance and protection.
Incident Response:
Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
Develop, document, and maintain incident response plans and workflows.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members on security best practices and emerging threats.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
7+ years in security architecture, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS security tools and services, including IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and KMS.
Proven expertise in developing and implementing secure migration strategies for cloud environments.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of AWS networking, VPC design, and security group configurations.
Proficiency in security risk assessment, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with incident response tools and techniques.
Certifications:
AWS Certified Security – Specialty (preferred).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent (preferred).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork.
