Description:
As an Association Executive, you'll be responsible for implementing the goals, strategies, programs, and policies established by our Board of Directors. Your role will involve leading, facilitating, or coordinating various activities and programs, managing the organization's finances, and finding creative ways to foster stronger relationships with our members and affiliates. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping our association’s future.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and motivate with your high energy and organizational skills.
- Collaborate with our Board of Directors.
- Provide exceptional customer service and value proposition to our membership.
- Manage the organization's finances and budgeting process, ensuring financial stability and accountability.
- Utilize your strategic thinking and tactical abilities to address challenges and opportunities.
- Effectively communicate with our membership through various channels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various technology and social media platforms.
- Adapt to a changing volunteer group and the organization’s needs with flexibility and resilience.
- Represent our association at state conferences, regional meetings, and community events as needed - some travel is required.

- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse groups of professionals and community members - as well as working independently and most often in an isolated setting.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presentation abilities.
- QuickBooks experience helpful but we are willing to train.
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to navigate conflicts and challenges with confidentiality, sensitivity, and tact.
- Interest in the legislative process and advocacy, with the ability to effectively communicate with local and state legislators.
