Description:
As an Associate Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following:
Develop software that delights users and empowers Manufacturing
Understand hardware and software interactions in a test system.
Collaborate with product experts to understand requirements to design and build quality test solutions
Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes
Understand industry trends in manufacturing test processes and recommend prudent adoption strategies.
Relentlessly improve the experience of your software users
Serve as a technical contact for internal customers.
Thoroughly investigate and diagnose complex software issues reported by users or escalated from others
Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.

This job might be for you if you have:
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar equivalent
Familiarity with various testing methodologies
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Embedded systems firmware development including Real-time firmware design, C and assembly languages
Object-oriented design with any Object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Delphi, Java)
Embedded Linux systems development including C, C++, Python
Other scripting languages
Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
