The Retail Product Manager is responsible for managing the product development process for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Burbank. This includes assisting with researching market trends, developing product specifications, coordinating with vendors, consumer products and managing the product launch process with the operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail product development, excellent project management skills, and a passion for developing products that meet the needs of the Tour Guests.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Collaborate with vendors, WB Consumer Products, Commercial Director and legal team to develop product specifications that meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Support the management of entire product development process through STARLABS, from concept to final product launch, including legal tags and packaging.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for new product assortments or improvements to existing products.
  • Work with planner and visual teams to establish "planograms" for assortment reviews and coordinate with marketing and operations teams to develop product launch strategies that maximize visibility and sales.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective production of products by working closely with suppliers, vendors, and WB logistics, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct market research, including attending trade shows and performing "comp shopping," to identify trends and opportunities for the Studio Tour retail shops.
  • Develop product pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer demand and meet KPI goals for the Tour.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant experience in product development and/or retail buying, with familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making, while paying attention to detail.
