Description:
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Associate Manager, Brand + Innovation Design will:
- Contribute and sometimes lead design development for two of our most beloved brands; method + ecover
- Concept, design & produce world-class on-brand design work for a variety of touchpoints, including new product development, in-store activations, campaign concepts & executions, toolkits, packaging and point-of-sale materials
- Represent the design team in project meetings, and mentor and guide more junior designers on long-term projects
- Create design forward, inspiring concepts that can be applied across many channels and touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with other creative disciplines, including digital, social, industrial design & copywriting
- Contribute design thinking and creative strategy to help shape overall creative direction
- Produce mood boards and decks to bring our products and brands to life, with consideration of cultural and design trends, both within our categories and beyond.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively to meet deadlines
- Have a strong understanding of print processes, dielines and artwork production
- Thoughtful and elevated typography and strategic, brand systems thinking
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in relevant design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field OR 3+ years of relevant design experience + Masters degree
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
