The Associate Director OPEX Site Leader will lead, manage and mentor the site OPEX vision, innovative training and education strategies to facilitate the achievement and sustainability of key business objectives in line with the Site Operating Plan
How you’ll spend your day
- Champion cultural change at the site through the structured deployment and embedding of global OPEX modules, technical training elements, and leadership strategies
- Facilitate professional growth and capability building build within all levels of the organization through a clear deployment of OPEX vision, healthy process confirmation program and implementation of effective and efficient training methods and knowledge transfer
- Guide and empower the OPEX team and Senior Leaders to facilitate a highly collaborative, engaged and enabled work environment
- Create spaces and coach and mentor leaders, peers, and stakeholders to autonomously support OPEX growth mindset, CI methodologies and integrated environment
- Engage site leaders and change agents to maintain a fully translated and connected tier board system driving daily routines, root cause/ problem solving and escalation to facilitate execution to the site targets
- Establish, maintain, train and monitor a network of trainers and mentors at all levels and within all functions on the site to ensure to ensure continuity of high quality training and for new starters to become effective quickly.
- Work in collaboration with site HR to align with personal development needs to incorporate relevant content to the technical training programs.
- In conjunction with the site leadership team, maintain and mentor MILO/ QILO standards to drive business, compliance, and employee engagement
- Work and collaborate with corporate and above site teams, and unit business partners to share best practices and actively seek to integrate these best practices through a standard process
- Perform needs analysis, create, design, implement, monitor and maintain the site onboarding, technical training and development plan ensuring alignment with mandatory training and regulatory requirements
- Lead the development and completion of town halls and site training plans within Teva Ohio University
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s university degree (technical, pharmaceutical, chemical, Industrial engineer)
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a team leader in a Lean environment, preferably in Manufacturing or another pharmaceutical company
- Mature strategic leader able to develop, inspire and grow high performing individuals and teams, with great communication, collaboration and cross-functional influence
- Experience in Learning & Development and advanced training methodologies/ technologies
- High energy and enthusiasm to lead team building and conflict resolution
- A proven track record in continuous improvement, project management, advanced analytical and problem solving skills, and influencing through others
- Strong project management experience, excellent time management skills and experience with LEAN thinking, systems, and tools
- Strong knowledge in MS Office
