Associate Director

Description:

Innosense Corporation is located within a business park in Torrance, CA. We have immediate opening for an Associate Director in our Biotechnology Directorate. The applicant must hold a doctoral degree, with relevant applied research experience in biochemistry, chemistry or biomaterials area. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

· Designing, developing, integrating, packaging, and testing systems and devices using basic educational knowledge from the fields of biotechnology.

· Prepare and submit grant proposals, reports, manuals, schematics drawings and patent disclosure.

· Seek vendor/customer input, provide customer support, and maintain a professional relationship with InnoSense Corporation customers on a project-by-project basis.

· Uphold a clutter-free, professional work environment, and follow all applicable federal, state, and local work-related regulations – including safety rules.

· Maintain laboratory notebooks and enter all progress of the technical work throughout or promptly after the subtask completion, depending on the nature of the work.

· Miscellaneous activities such as running errands and/or other administrative office functions.

Requirements:

· Education and skills: Doctoral degree, and work-experience.

· General Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in US English, ability to work under deadline demands, active listening, innovation through hard work, strict compliance with workplace rules, complete cooperation with management, and teamwork.

· Technical Skills: Performing laboratory experiments, developing research funding proposals in the biotechnology area. V
