Associate Analyst

Description:

This role provides daily support to the Software Product Connected Services team at Chamberlain Group. This position leverages tools that ingest, process, store and analyze large volumes of transactional data collected from connected device and user interactions via iOS and Android phone apps. The Analyst will spearhead all analytics and forecasting activities to ensure outputs are aligned with the Software Product Management team. The Analyst will be responsible for the development, support and ongoing maintenance of front-end data visualizations, ensuring organizational KPI's and metrics are consistent across all consumable data.

Job Description:

• Design meaningful data visualizations that tell a story and provide actionable insights to help our stakeholders make informed decisions.

• Maintenance of metric scorecards used to drive analyses, insights, and reports to the business

• Work with cross-disciplinary teams to incorporate data from other CGI-based systems and platforms to establish governance and ensure data quality

• Foster communication and engagement with stakeholders across our Business Units and functional teams, along with our front-end and middleware engineers.

• Leverage the knowledge gained from hands-on daily interactivity with the myQ data platform to develop and provide insightful proactive analysis on key metrics and trends

• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

• Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or another related field

• 1 or more years work experience within Analytics/Business Intelligence, including projects building actionable, data-based solutions

• Hands-on experience with Analytics/Business Intelligence concepts and visualization techniques

• Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms such as Qlik Sense and Power BI

• Hands-on experience with data transformation using tools such as SQL or Python

• Conceptual understanding of data warehouse/data modeling concepts and procedures

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment (including working with both internal and external resources)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; i.e. PowerPoint. Ability to deliver thought-provoking analysis and provide clear, concise analysis

• Ability to develop, document and deliver end user materials such as training or project artifacts.

• Proficient within the Microsoft Office Suite of products
