This role will be accountable for the scope of services related to health, safety, risk, security and compliance under the contract across global property portfolio, and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all compliance, regulatory requirements and relevant KPI’s are met or exceeded

About the Role:
 

  • Devise and implement an EHS audit program to monitor compliance against statutory regulations, reduce risk and improve performance against C&W EHS management systems and processes as well as client’s EHS expectations.
  • Track, manage and implement corrective action plans on non-conformance related items.
  • Develop and deploy EHS training and awareness for site contacts.
  • Implement safe working practices and procedures and maintain a high awareness of safety by training employees and work permit system.
  • Manage the collection of EHS (energy, waste, water, PPEs, chemical, LTI, near miss and first aid) related data from across all sites and prepare monthly status reports.
     

About You:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, safety science, or a related field can be a strong asset.
  • Must be willing to start ASAP.
  • Professional certifications in health and safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)
  • Proven experience in health and safety: A minimum of 7-10 years working in a health and safety role is usually expected.
  • Commercial real estate experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and developing effective control measures are core responsibilities of an HSW Lead.
