Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach a range of graphic design courses at the undergraduate level that demonstrate proficiency in visual communication using the Adobe Creative Suite as well as time-based media. We seek candidates who can contribute to the development of new courses in emerging digital technologies and contribute to the educational goals of the department. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include research and service requirements consistent with tenure expectations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an M.F.A. in Graphic Design or related discipline at the time employment begins. Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary education environment and/or professional experience is desired. Recent M.F.A. graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Standard Requirements

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.
