Assistant Manager

Description:

This position will work with, and report directly to, the General Manager. They will also work with the Chicago Magic Lounge Leadership Team in matters relating to companywide policies.

This position will be responsible for nightly management of service and overseeing long term food and beverage program success. Key result areas will include:

· Managing beverage inventory, ordering and intake, and vendor relationships.

· Providing point of sale (Toast) support to food and beverage service team.

· Overseeing and implementing bar, service, and kitchen best practices and policies.

· Acting as nightly Manager on Duty including leading pre-service team meetings, providing support and instruction to all hourly employees, and overseeing food and beverage service to all patrons.

· Providing nightly reports to Leadership Team and Operations.

· Other duties as assigned.

Managers will be expected to have, and keep current, the following training and certification:

· Basset certification

· Food manager license

· Allergy awareness certification

· De-escalation training

· Sexual harassment prevention and civility training
