Assistant General Manager

Description:

This Michelin Guide, high-volume local fast-casual group is looking for an Assistant General Manager for one of its locations in Marin.

YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, including following business trends, maximizing sales and profit by developing staff, controlling expenses, maintaining great guest service and high food quality, and overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant.

• Supervise, train, and coach staff to meet the high standards of the restaurant in terms of productivity, service, quality and timeliness
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Ensure foods are prepared in accordance with company standards for quality, freshness, consistency, and timeliness and presentation
• Ensure a safe and clean restaurant and workplace
• Oversee the managerial aspects of the restaurant, with focus on cost management
• When needed, fill in when shifts are open
• Other duties as dictated by the General Manager in order to run smooth operations

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• Minimum 2+ Years experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a $3M+ quick-service or full-service restaurant
• Thrive in busy, high-volume operations
• Display strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Self-driven, motivated with a positive attitude
• Able to work any shift, 7 days a week
• Fluent in English and Spanish
