The Assistant Director of Human Resources supports the mission and goals of the College and the Human Resources department. This position supervises professional staff in the daily operations of position descriptions and classifications, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and new employee experience functions. This position oversees and performs internal and external data reporting, data analytics, compensation administration, and HR project management responsibilities.

The Assistant Director of Human Resources applies a diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility lens for all programs overseen, continuously evaluates areas of responsibility, makes recommendations to improve, implements any approved changes to new or existing processes, and performs backup function for supervised staff during absences and/or high workload needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. An equivalency will not count towards the three-year requirement below.
  • Three years’ experience in HR, data extracting, reporting, and/or analytics, or closely related experience.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
