Primary Duties & Responsibilities
eads, directs and oversees School Level financial objectives including, but not limited to:
- Oversees year-end, quarterly-Estimate and monthly financial closing processes, including recording of closing entries, coordinating with University closings, reconciliation of accounting controls, reporting and consolidation of actuals in departments, administrative offices, service centers and all other fiscal units; directs the preparation of summary reports of financial results and status for presentation to senior management and the Board of Trustees.
- Reviews the integrity and quality of general ledger reporting, including the Foundation - Data Model and auditing of financial data.
- Coordinates the annual budget development process, including scheduling, training, submission, reporting and consolidation of budgets from departments, central administrative offices, service centers and all other fiscal units; ensures appropriate budget controls are utilized in financial systems and procedures; directs the preparation of summary budget schedules for presentation to senior management and the Board of Trustees.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business or a related field.
