Assistant Controller

Description:

We are looking to fill an Assistant Controller position with a highly regarded Investment Management company based in Dallas. This position will oversee and manage operations and accounting for their investment funds. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise with FIS Private Capital Suite (Investran) software to ensure accurate and efficient fund management. This role requires collaboration within all levels of the accounting team to ensure seamless operations and reporting.

Duties:

• Oversee accounting and operational activities for multiple investment funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Manage and execute the monthly fund close process, including reconciling accounts and preparing necessary reports.
• Prepare and distribute quarterly investor statements, ensuring clarity and precision in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the Controller on audit preparation, tax filings, and other related projects to support financial transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with the COO and front office on various ad hoc projects, providing financial insights and support as needed.
• Assist with regulatory reporting in partnership with the Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
