Our client, a leader in the beauty retail space, is seeking a Jr. Art Director to join their 360 creative team and help define the visual language of the brand across motion, digital, social, packaging, and visual merchandising platforms. In this role, you’ll have the chance to elevate the brand through visually compelling and consistent design executions across all mediums.
This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to bring 360 concepts to life. Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate brand visual design language across platforms, ensuring consistency across motion, digital, packaging, and social channels.
- Collaborate with 360 content teams and developers to bring creative concepts to life.
- Execute a range of tasks, including graphic design, motion direction, and video editing, as needed to support campaigns.
- Concept, design, and deliver high-quality creative work with a unique voice that aligns with brand identity.
- Adapt to shifting creative directions and explore new trends, technologies, and tools to push design boundaries.
- Manage fast-paced deadlines with strong time management skills, delivering thoughtful and high-quality work on time.
- Receive and implement feedback effectively, collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams to refine and optimize concepts.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- 3-5+ years of industry experience in creative design and art direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative work across multiple platforms, including motion design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects required) and experience with Figma.
- Experience creating motion art and working with video content across digital and social platforms.
- Obsessive attention to detail, with a critical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
- Passion for storytelling, exploring trends, and working with cross-disciplinary teams.
