Architectural Drafting Technician

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Facilities Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Architectural Drafting Techinician. This position will provide architectural drafting services for multi-building facilities using various infrastructure software tools. The Architectural Drafting Technician is responsible for providing project team leadership as assigned throughout all phases of construction, remodeling, and relocation projects from original concept through completion.

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide architectural drafting services using AutoCAD and ARCHIBUS/ Total Infrastructure Facilities Management (TIFM) software for DCT Facilities.
• Maintain systems to achieve performance optimization, preventative maintenance, and problem isolation/resolution.
• Ensure design layout, scale drawings, programming, design development, and preliminary design.
• Produce detailed furniture installation drawings, furnishings specification, AutoCAD drawing files maintenance, and facilities data base maintenance.
• Ensure all space planning documents comply with all legislative, state, and local codes, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain, establish, and develop space programs for short, medium, and long-range goals of the DCT.
• Maintain workplace guidelines, manuals, and standards as set forth by DCT management.
