Description:
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Develop construction plans that include accurate representations of the structure and details for construction.
- Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs using computer aided design; Revit, Building Information Modeling, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe, Photo Shop, or other tools
- Must be proficient in Revit with the ability to collaborate and coordinate between multiple Building Information Modeling (BMI) platforms.
- Collaborate and meet with clients to understand their functional requirements and vision of structures.
- Monitor the work of engineers, laborers, interior designers, and other parties involved on the project.
- Conduct period on-site observations of the project design and monitor compliance with the plan.
- Prepare contracts with clients and construction companies.
- Develop marketing materials, proposals, or presentations to create new connections and work opportunities.
- Desire to continue personal growth and experience within the industry by continuously learning new design elements.
- Ability to remain positive & flexible while navigating multiple, often overlapping schedules, software programs, change orders, and group communications.
- Have a clear understanding of client needs and proven ability to execute project scope within budget and time restrictions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
