Description:
We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with a good understanding of manufacturing processes to join the team, contributing to the transformation of manufacturing with our premier software, designed to improve speed, quality, and traceability in hardware development. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in manufacturing, eager to apply their technical and process knowledge to solve complex challenges and drive customer success.
Your Role:
- Serve as a regional technical expert during sales engagements, offering in-depth product knowledge and manufacturing insights.
- Perform audits at customer sites to understand and enhance their manufacturing operations.
- Propose solutions leveraging our software to meet customer needs and communicate product enhancement requests to our development team.
- Produce technical documentation and sales support materials, including proposals and product demonstrations.
- Participate in webinars, trade shows, and other marketing events to represent our solutions.
- Facilitate a smooth transition for customers from sales to deployment, ensuring collaboration across teams.
- Commit to ongoing learning about product updates and manufacturing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and address customer manufacturing challenges with effective software solutions.
- Draft and present technical proposals that align with customer requirements and business goals.
- Support the sales process with technical expertise and documentation.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry and product advancements.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or related fields (e.g., autonomous vehicles, robotics).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with application software (Google Apps, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
- US Citizen or green card holder.
- Commutable to LA, able to work onsite 2 days per week.
