“Soar” into the role with these key responsibilities:
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers.
- Plan/procure meals that meet strict dietary needs and special handling requirements.
- Perform the duties of flight safety attendant, which will include meal service for passengers and crew members.
- Responsible for safe food handling and storage requirements.
- Conduct aircraft interior and exterior pre-flight checks, ensuring that all safety, galley and cabin equipment is ready for flight.
- Perform aircraft maintenance or supervise maintenance requirements in partnership with the Disney Aviation Group Maintenance Department. Perform advanced troubleshooting/diagnostics of aircraft systems and propose solutions to in-flight emergencies and abnormal technical conditions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of normal and emergency procedures and items located in the cabin area.
- Coordinate with flight crews to maintain safe, efficient trips utilizing good communication to keep the crew informed regarding cabin operations.
- Assist in maintaining the aircraft supply stock room inventory to meet the needs of all assigned trips.
- Provide feedback to the Chief Pilot of any pertinent trip information that affects the performance of the department (i.e. passenger preferences, catering, FBO services, sundry purchasing, etc.).
- Maintain currency on new procedures, policies, requirements, FAA and ICAO regulations.
- Participate in SMS (Safety Management System), reinforcing current Stage III IS-BAO approval.
- Maintain a pleasant operational environment through use of CRM techniques, stressing positive interaction with the crew, passengers and support personnel.
- Perform all post-flight duties, including administrative requirements and communicating pertinent problems to maintenance personnel.
- Complete administrative duties and projects in a timely manner.
- Participate in new learning & development opportunities to enhance job performance and skills.
Required qualifications that will help you “land” the job:
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time: domestic and overseas destinations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays
- High school diploma
- FAA Aircraft and Powerplant Certificates
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- 3+ years’ experience on maintenance of multi-engine jet aircraft
- Graduation from a formal maintenance school, military or civilian
- Completed or willing to attend Emergency Crew Training
- Possess a passport, ability to acquire visas and pass a background investigation
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP
