Agriculture Project Coordinator

Member Duties : The Agriculture Program Coordinator will help support the Agroecology Program supporting the various agroecological initiatives within the program. This includes training and empowering beginning farmers to initiate their own agriculture enterprises in an effort to address the urgent need to create new jobs and increase food security in the region. They will also support the network of farmers in the region, collaborating with local producers to support marketing and sales of agricultural products. They will also serve as Plenitud PR’s instructors and staff with the development of the demonstration plots at the Plenitud PR Center for Sustainable Living, Las Marías Community Center & Resiliency Hub, and the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez campus.
