Agricultural Sr Sales Rep

Description:

BASF Corporation is looking for qualified candidates in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. This territory will cover a wide range of crops including wheat, alfalfa, canola, chickpeas, and other cereal crops. The Business Representative will be responsible for managing accounts in the territory and meeting BASF specified targets by creating value for the existing customer base through products, services, and/or solutions from BASF and our partners.

• Creating a Territory Plan aligned with the district objectives and an Account Plan with a segmented customer base.
• Understanding and creating solutions based on the needs of the customer and Provide value to the customer's business outside of agricultural chemical.
• Forecasting, implementing, and administration of marketing initiatives.
• Work with retailers and distributors to find areas for joint success and with influencers in the market to develop a plan for product introduction.
• Creating local marketing plans that align with the business objectives and Manage a territory with an entrepreneurial focus and a measurement of profitability.
• Utilizing information from the existing customer base to understand who uses the current brands sold.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

If you…

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Science (such as Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology) or related field.
• Bring your 5-10 years field sales, marketing, and/or account manager experience with Crop Protection products.
• Customer Relationship Management.
• Leadership.
• Strategic Thinking.
• Demonstration of the ability to influence and impact.
• Other skills: strong presentation, business acumen, innovation/creativity, teamwork, time management
