Description:

Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of contemporary carbon reduction and sustainability performance objectives as well as the ability to apply appropriate quantitative analysis techniques, (including appropriate software-based analysis tools) in the context of the architectural design process.

The core salary range for this position is $42.97-$66.41 per hour. USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year but, in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean .The USC School of Architecture has long been socially minded. Qualifications: A Master of Building Science degree, Master of Architecture degree or equivalent is required. Preference is given to candidates with a proven track record of research and or related professional work or prior teaching experience at recognized schools of architecture.
