Adjunct Faculty Coordinator

 

Description:

The Adjunct Faculty Coordinator serves as a point of contact for adjunct faculty employees regarding onboarding and pay-related issues. This position is responsible for processing a wide range of administrative and human resources processes for adjunct faculty including payroll actions. The position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the main human resources database (Colleague) and other HR databases to ensure personal, payroll, and adjunct faculty related information are updated in an accurate and timely fashion. The adjunct faculty coordinator provides high-quality customer service to adjunct faculty members. The incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Review and process adjunct faculty appointments, reappointments, and payment actions in an accurate and timely fashion. Serve as a secondary resource to many different offices and areas of the university on adjunct related issues. Areas include Provost and Dean of Faculty; academic departments; HR and Payroll.

  • Serve as point of contact for department and adjunct faculty members with general human resources, appointment, and payroll related questions.

  • Assist with the maintenance of the main human resources database and other HR databases to ensure personal, payroll, and adjunct faculty related information are updated in an accurate and timely fashion.

  • Perform other duties as assigned. May serve as coordinator for a particular project on behalf of the Service Delivery Team.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
