Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented High Volume Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL. This temp-to-hire position offers an hourly wage of $22 - $25. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high volumes of accounts payable transactions and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process. This role is vital for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile invoices and statements.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in high volume accounts payable processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
