Description:
The Consolidations and Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing global consolidation and financial reporting. This includes managing the corporate consolidation close process, intercompany transactions, preparing consolidated financial statements, analyzing them, and ensuring effective internal controls are in place. You’ll be collaborating with global finance teams and senior management, making this a highly visible and impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate global monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Oversee the worldwide financial close calendar and the consolidation process.
- Manage consolidating entries, reconciliation of intercompany transactions, investments in subsidiaries, and related transactions.
- Analyze the impact of foreign currency translation on consolidated financial statements.
- Coordinate with US and international teams to prepare corporate monthly review packages.
- Provide executive management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports and analysis.
- Maintain the integrity of the global chart of accounts and ensure cross-mapping to legacy ERP systems.
- Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by external auditors.
- Support the preparation of quarterly SEC financial reporting, including cash flow statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP across major accounting areas and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA required.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including consolidation, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC financial reporting requirements, and related footnotes.
- Experience with general ledger systems and foreign currency translation.
- Public accounting/audit experience with a CPA certificate preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Prophix, Hyperion HFM, SAP, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
