Description:

  • Facilitate processing of payroll for 250+ team members utilizing Paycom processing software. Facilitate payroll workflow and ensure all transactions are processed timely and accurately.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Help perform variance analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to Sr Accountant.
  • Assist in managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and process journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Help monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas of concern and proposing solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and human resources, to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Assist in special projects and financial analysis as required.
  • Handle miscellaneous projects and additional work as required.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable processes by completing reviews and developing reports regarding aged claims, working to mitigate issues and receive timely payments.
  • Generate and submit monthly invoices and pledge agreements (as needed) to various stakeholders.
  • Submit HAB-Aide reimbursement forms & follow up on submissions for timely payment remittance.
  • Assist with generating and delivering client account statements.
  • Utilizes accounting system and other software to complete work functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:*
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
