Description:
The Account Manager is responsible for the sell-in and sell-out of a forecasted dollar volume and mix products in the assigned retail accounts for all Luxury brands. Act as key liaison between brand and the assigned accounts(s). Interact with buying office in all aspects of the ordering process to ensure the company’s net and retail goals are accomplished. Play and instrumental role in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for each account.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving net and retail sales goals for entire account(s).
- Compile all daily, weekly and monthly net and retail sales reports including competitive retail reports and mix business for the assigned brands.
- Participate in forecasting sales for new sku’s within the retailer ordering systems.
- Responsible for the overall stock levels and ensure appropriate product mix of stock is available in the stores by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring, and resolving low or out of stock conditions. Control and update stock and sales plan, product and returns. Manage promotional order process, from purchase order to shipment.
- Manage promotional order process for assigned brands, from purchase order to shipment.
- Actively participate in open to buy negotiation along with Division Director.
- Responsible for preparing account meeting information in conjunction with Division Director and Brand Managers.
- Work in conjunction with Division Director, and Brand Managers to establish the promotional strategies for the business, input the agreed upon contracts as well as maintain the advertising budget.
- Builds strong, influential partnerships with buyers to maximize space and visual priority, full stock conditions and the retailer’s contribution to advertising and sales enhancing events. Negotiate additional spaces in store specific high peak seasons.
- Communicate and follow up on all necessary business information from buying offices to Division Director, and Brand Managers.
- Establish strong working partnerships with Retailers and Division Director as well as people from the corporate office to acquire key resources, obtain problem-solving advice and take advantage of assistance highly critical situations.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to employee manual, ethical standards, health, safety, and security procedures.
