Our Sales team works closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, corporate clients and more to provide phenomenal customer solutions that lead to fruitful business relationships. And through valued customer feedback, optimized partnerships, and innovative sales strategies, Sales continues to be the largest revenue-generating department at United.

Elevate corporate revenue to support United's expansion goals by enlisting a sales team skilled in sourcing new business and tailoring agreements to potential customers' needs. Additionally, this team will oversee PassPlus portfolio growth, tasked with negotiating contracts to drive incremental revenue

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on core new business KPIs by proactively identifying prospects, validating the opportunities, developing customized client solutions, closing sales, and following through with contract implementation
  • Convey the value of United Airlines and United for Business, and assign the appropriate United for Business product that drives balanced value, meeting the customer and United Airlines strategic objectives
  • Effectively manage United's prepaid corporate account portfolio by cultivating productive value-add customer relationships in the digital environment, focusing on customer and product satisfaction to drive incremental revenue growth at time of renewal and contract lifecycle
  • Test new tech-stack, sales products, programs, and go-to-market strategies with targeted customers. Provide timely feedback to the appropriate Product/Program Manager and Sales Leadership on customer reaction and uptake.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and implementation teams to align sales efforts with overall business strategies. Ensure the successful activation to meet client and United expectations.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that can enhance the company’s new business growth and overall market penetration.

Experience

  • New Business Pipeline Management
  • Sales Enablement/CRM Tool proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Outreach)
  • Virtual Account Management

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Adaptable, ability to embrace change and technological advancements
  • Strong negotiating skills and financial acumen
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, industry trends, and translate them into actionable plans
  • Proven ability to sync product value to customer needs
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
