Account Manager

 

Description:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within our Cincinnati, OH Market! Important activities include anticipating customer needs by proactively gauging customer requirements, responding to customer requests, preparing proposals, and developing solutions from available offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Managment
    • Build and expand customer base through pre-sales activities; cold calling, in-person meetings and ecosystem partnerships.
    • Build and maintain positive customer relationships including; passionate customer advocacy, accurate account mapping, key understanding of and alignment with customers decision makers.
    • Host quarterly business review with top customers, develop strategic roadmaps and execute against key customer initiatives.
    • Maintain and ensure tight alignment with internal Presidio teams to deliver strategic customer outcomes.
    • Develop and Maintain trusted relationships with strategic business partners.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Collaborate with extended Presidio team to include; technology specialists, solution architects, inside sales resources, delivery engineers, billing, collections and leadership.
    • Maintain sales tolls with timely updates and accurate forecasting.
    • Manage and maintain timely, accurate billing and support collections team when issues arise.
    • Provide more value than consumed by reinvesting back into Presidio through feedback to leadership, developing new strategic relationships, advancing new company initiatives and mentoring of new employees.
    • Deliver internal quarterly business reviews to leadership to represent business progress and plans.

Required Skills:

  • High performing AMs have the demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings.
  • Achieve expected sales quota leveraging existing vendor and customer contacts, as well as past experience and track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Persuasive speaker with polished presentation skills and service-oriented focus.
  • Self-starter with a proven track record in developing relationships with customers and vendors, a focus on business outcomes and ability to translate client business needs into solutions.
  • Ability to solve problems, with critical thinking, judgment, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred candidate will have prior experience selling advanced technology solutions from Cisco, AWS, Palo Alto, VMware, Dell, Microsoft, etc.
