Account Executive I

 

Description:

The Account Executive is responsible for all assigned sales activities. Assignments may be account-based, geography-based, or a combination of the two. All Deluxe Treasury Management & Payments solutions are available, and the Account Executive will handle total sales functions from prospecting and follow-up to completed sale. Also responsible for establishing sales forecasts and maintaining budgets and expenses related to sales activity. The Account Executive is responsible for net new business and assigned existing business through primarily a virtual environment.

  • Manages the activity and health of their territory’s sales funnel to ensure the successful attainment of their annual Sales Objective.
  • Proficiently presents all solutions.
  • Generates leads and follows-up on all leads generated by various sources and submitted to Deluxe TM&P analyzing and qualifying potential prospects.
  • Participates, leads, and coordinates contract processes and negotiations between clients and internal Deluxe TM&P departments to include component contract input and T&C’s contributions for applicable opportunities.
  • Works closely with appropriate Sales Consultant in order to coordinate demonstrations and complete RFP requests.

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors in Business or Marketing or HS/GED and 4 years experience in sales. Knowledge of industry trends.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft CRM, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: 5 Years within the Payments Industry or selling complex Outsourcing and Software solutions to senior-level executives.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Strong analytical/mathematical skills.
