AZIONE, an award-winning agency, seeks an experienced candidate to join as an Account Executive in our Lifestyle / Fashion division. The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of post-graduate experience in PR. Experience with innovative startups is a plus. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationships & Growth:
- Act as a client contact and manage day-to-day account activities
- Contribute to weekly client calls and in-person meetings alongside senior team leadership
- Attend media briefings with clients as needed (e.g., interviews, desksides, press previews, event activations)
- Support new business processes including brainstorming, research, deck contributions, and pitch preparation
Strategic Thinking:
- Actively pitch across client priorities to secure product features, podcasts, product placements, and trend stories
- Identify editorial and brand partnership targets and opportunities for client projects
- Oversee and execute launches and larger campaigns to deliver media coverage for clients
- Assist in the development of integrated PR campaigns to achieve client objectives under senior team leadership
- Draft pitches with oversight from SAE / AM / AD
- Support brand partnerships implementation
- Review and proofread client agendas and action items to ensure accuracy
- Maintain weekly and monthly recaps for team projects with SAE / AM / AD oversight as needed
- Manage in-bound client requests and vet media opportunities
Excellence in Delivery:
- Conduct media outreach and facilitate timely interview opportunities, sendouts, sample requests, and high-res image requests
- Secure steady rhythm of proactive editorial, partnership, and event integration opportunities
- Maintain and grow a network of media, brand partners, and influencer relationships
- Stay updated on new technologies, business trends, affiliate platforms, and social media trends
- Monitor industry news and trends, sharing insights with the team
- Anticipate and offer solutions for client-specific issues
- Contribute to the agency database of editorial relationships
Leadership:
- Display integrity, honesty, reliability, and openness to be trusted by clients and internal teams
- Foster a positive team culture and collaboration between the PR and Digital teams
- Mentor team members including JAE, AC, and interns
- Recognize and reward great work within the team
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect at all times
Requirements:
- 2+ years of post-graduate experience in PR
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset
- Must be located in New York City
- Our NYC team operates on a hybrid office schedule and this role would be in-office Tuesdays + Thursdays
