Success Metrics & Position Goals:

  • Engage with the energy community and educate them on the value of EDA offerings.
  • Develop an in-depth comprehension of target client profiles and subgroup stakeholders through understanding pain points and data needs, buying decisions, and client budget dynamics.
  • Work closely with Marketing to drive engagement in our subscription offering.
  • Identify opportunities for both current and prospective clients.
  • Manage pricing, negotiations, and contracting throughout the sales life cycle.
  • Close subscription-based sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Enable Analytics and Product Management teams to create in-depth working relationships.
  • Generate a pipeline of leads through online prospecting, cold-calling, event lists, and referrals.
  • Manage a list of target accounts that would benefit from EDA subscription products.

  • Proven B2B selling capabilities in an agile, scaling, and often changing industry
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to find creative solutions in a rapidly evolving and competitive ecosystem
  • Strong analytical capabilities are a must
  • Professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Superb interpersonal skills, always approachable and professional with the desire to build lasting relationships with clients and internally within EDA
  • Demonstration of a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing objectives
  • Competitive drive and ability to negotiate
  • Proven ability to self-manage complex sales

 

Education/Experience:

  • Oil and Gas industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of three years in B2B sales
  • Experience in navigating sales at multiple levels of an organization
  • Experience in client communication through both written and verbal presentations
