Description:
Responsibilities
- Sell premium and group tickets to the greater Des Moines area including individuals, families, and corporations.
- Manage and build relationships to create new opportunities for group leaders and future referrals
- Network and local events including community, partnership, and other related opportunities.
- Service current and prospective group leaders on matchdays
- Implement best practices, prospecting, lead generation, and lead management while demonstrating outbound sales efforts.
- Create, build, and execute group theme nights and group sales business plans
- Represent Des Moines Menace in a positive way on game days when interacting with clients
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments, and sales.
- Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry.
- Must be open to learning throughout sales training process and be a coachable team member
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven team player who is willing to work long days, nights, and weekends
