Description:
The Sales Executive is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth on a quarterly and annual basis through the acquisition of new business. The candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the industry and market verticals. Multiple channels of client access and engagement should be used in the pursuit of new business. Prospect interaction should lead to meaningful projects that fit within our client's core competencies. The Sales Executive will provide internal direction to all team members to ensure profitable program implementation. He/she will follow all projects from inception through execution as the key client contact point. The candidate is also responsible for fostering internal relationships with all departments within the company.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging industry expertise and capitalizing on your relationships to build a substantial pipeline of project opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of projects that are within various stages of the sales process from initial stages to mature project execution.
- Function as the daily client contact and decision maker for existing projects and generate new business opportunities within those accounts.
- Collaborate internally with other functional teams to meet and exceed client project expectations.
- Develop account-level strategies that best relay our client's value propositions to sell custom point-of-purchase display programs.
- Continuously monitor projects to ensure departments are meeting timelines, budgets, and other client specifications. Immediate notification to the team is required if there are any delays or problems in meeting client requests.
- Submit and maintain accurate client account information and activity into our client’s client database.
- Maintain weekly sales reporting and forecasting activity in CRM and provides timely updates for management review.
- Cultivate partnership with the Creative, Estimating, Engineering and Production departments.
- Establish, in collaboration with the President and Sr. VP – Sales, annual business goals as related to achieving the company’s revenue and profit commitments. Define account goals and formally evaluate the results against set goals.
- Accountable for the management of approved projects including the planning, budgeting, and billing process.
